What our customers say
"I work nights and my room faces east. I've tried everything — proper blackout curtains, foil tape on the edges, sleep masks. Nothing worked. DarkNest took 4 minutes to put up and my room is pitch black at 9am. I'm finally sleeping properly."
NHS Night Nurse · Manchester
"My baby was capping at 35 min naps no matter what I did. Put DarkNest up in the nursery 2 hour naps the same day. I'm not exaggerating. Bought 3 more for the rest of the house."
New mum · Austin TX
"Renting so drilling was out of the question. Stuck it to the frame, no mess, no marks. My landlord has been in since and had no idea it was there. Room is completely blacked out."
Renting · London
"Spent £200 on blackout curtains that still let light in at the sides. This cost £30 and works better. Genuinely annoyed I didn't find it two years ago."

FAQs
My window isn't a standard size. Will it still work?
Yes. The blind ships oversized so you trim it to your exact measurements. It works on rectangular, square, casement, fixed, and sliding windows. As long as your window is smaller than 57 × 118 inches (145 × 300 cm), DarkNest fits. For unusually wide windows, buy two and overlap them in the middle.
My window frame is uPVC / aluminium / wood. Will the adhesive stick?
Yes. The fixings are designed to bond to uPVC, aluminium, and wood frames the three most common window frame types in the UK and US. Clean the frame surface before applying for best adhesion. Do not apply to painted plaster or unfinished walls.
How do I cut it? Do I need special tools?
The included safety cutter handles the material cleanly. Lay the blind flat, measure and mark your dimensions, then cut along a straight edge. One pass is all it takes. A regular pair of sharp scissors also works just score first with a ruler.
Does it leave any marks when removed?
The adhesive is designed to remove cleanly from window frames. On uPVC and aluminium it peels off completely. On older wooden frames, test a small area first. The blind itself has never damaged a frame in our testing but we always recommend testing on an inconspicuous area if you're unsure.
